Phil Schubert named executive vice president; focus will be implementation of 21st Century Vision

Phil SchubertPhil Schubert will become executive vice president of ACU, effective July 1, announced Dr. Royce Money, ACU president.

Schubert currently serves as vice president for finance. In his new role, Schubert will focus intently on the implementation of strategic plans related to the 21st Century Vision and on external partnerships.

"Phil has the ability to bring this vision to a reality," Money said. "In the last couple of years, Phil's role has expanded significantly beyond that of a traditional vice president for finance. He has taken the lead with projects involving companies such as Genesis, AT&T and Apple, and I know he will do an outstanding job representing ACU on several fronts."

Schubert will help in advancing ACU toward becoming the premier university for the education of Christ-centered, global leaders, said Money.

In 2006, Schubert completed his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He graduated from ACU with a B.B.A. in accounting in 1991, and began his work at ACU in 1993.
