Outstanding faculty and staff members were announced and awarded, retiring faculty and staff were honored, and employees received service pins for their years of service to the university.
Staff Awards
Outstanding staff members for 2006-2007 are Geoffery Klafter in University Purchasing and Barbara Hejl who serves as the Director of Stewardship at ACU.
Val Mascari, manager for Witt, Fiala, and Flannery, the university’s contracted custodial services company, was given a Special Award.
Faculty Awards
Adam Hester, the chair of the ACU Theater Department, was given the Teacher of the Year Award.
Mark Lewis, the Director of Spiritual Life and Student Ministries at ACU, received the Unsung Servant Award.
Donna Hester, advisor in the ACU Theater Department, was given the University Seminar Teacher of the Year Award.
Glenda Weatherford, senior administrative coordinator and academic advisor in the ACU Music Department, received the Degree Plan Specialist of the Year Award.
Denise Barnett, communication sciences and disorders undergraduate advisor, was given the Faculty Advisor of the Year.
