Broom Colloquium for Mission and Global Christianity

The Halbert Institute of Missions (HIM), the Department of Bible, Missions, and Ministry (DBMM), and the Graduate School of Theology (GST) have collaborated to create an annual forum for the ACU community to probe important issues relating to missions and global Christianity. This annual colloquium will provide an exciting opportunity for the following:

  1. Bring in world-class scholars and mission leaders to help raise our awareness of critical mission-related issues
  2. Provide a nexus for new avenues of connection, dialogue, and synergy among all the ACU community interested in missions and global expressions of the Christian faith
  3. Better prepare our students to live critically, missionally, and globally in contemporary world contexts
  4. Encourage creative and rigorous missions scholarship among the ACU community
  5. Contribute to renewal of missions and church-planting in Churches of Christ

It is our belief that this annual colloquium will help us in achieving our ultimate goal of forming students to live their lives as world Christians.

Honoring Wendell and Bettye Broom
