The Mission of the Center for ChurchEnrichment is to serve church leaders needing information, resources, equipping, and consultation for enhanced service in the church and in the world.

Our Goals:

Discover the current needs of church leaders in Churches of Christ.
Provide access to various resources (including persons of expertise) pertaining to church life and leadership. 
Equip church leaders for increased effectiveness.
Serve as consultants to churches in need of outside intervention. 

History:

Since its inception, the Center for Church Enrichment has served as a multi-purpose vehicle for assisting churches and church leaders in becoming more effective. Dr. Ian Fair has served as the original director for the center. Effective January 1, 2001 the role of leadership for the center has transitioned to Dr. Charles Siburt, Frazer Professor of Church Enrichment and Associate Dean for Ministry Programs and Services.

Resources:

Minister Transition Packet  A comprehensive manual including valuable resources to guide church leaders through the challenging transition from the leaving of one minister to the entry of the new minister.  Topics include stages in ministerial transition, managing congregational crises, the search process, the interview process, and much more.  To order this resource, please email your request, as well as your name, full mailing address, phone number, and name of congregation to ministry@bible.acu.edu.  The cost is $50 plus the cost of shipping.  An invoice will be mailed to you with the packet.
