ACU Marketplace’s Commitment to Online Privacy

ACU is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and has implemented procedural and physical safeguards to protect the security and integrity of customer data. ACU Marketplace will not disclose or share Personal Information collected on its web site with any third party, except as required by law and/or pursuant to a governmental request, or as necessary to provide services to support its software solutions.

For customers who choose to create an online profile and make an online purchase, ACU Marketplace will document or maintain the following information: a unique customer ID, name, e-mail address, phone number, billing information, shipping information, and the store in which you were shopping. ACU Marketplace does not store credit or debit card numbers; credit and debit card data is collected, transmitted, and processed by Touchnet Information Systems, a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant third-party service provider, using industry standard 128 bit encryption.

Store operators within ACU Marketplace may request additional information to facilitate the completion or fulfillment of your order or for other relevant business purposes. Customers may provide such information on a voluntarily basis during the checkout process.

Use of Personal Information by ACU Marketplace

ACU Marketplace will use your personal information strictly for the business purpose for which it is submitted, such as to complete or fulfill an order, reply to your email requests, respond to customer complaints, etc. We will never sell or rent your personal information.

Computer Tracking and Cookies

A cookie cannot read or access other cookies or any data from a user’s hard drive. Marketplace uses cookies to save usernames in order to minimize data entry and for general ease of use. Cookies are also used to "time-out" user sessions that are idle for an extended period of time.
