ACU Dallas names executive in residencePosted January 21, 2016
Dr. Carl Couch, vice president of innovation for Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance, has been named executive in residence for the School of Health and Human Services in the College of Graduate and Professional Studies on the ACU Dallas Campus.
Couch has served as the president of Baylor Quality Alliance, a clinically integrated organization of physicians, Baylor Health Care System (BHCS) hospitals, and other providers of care whose mission is to improve quality and reduce the overall cost of care for the patients and communities served by BHCS.
Couch was the founding director and 13-year chairman of the board of Health Texas Provider Network. He has recently published the book Accountable: The Baylor Scott & White Accountable Care Journey.
In his role as executive in residence for the School of Health and Human Services, Couch will provide consultation to program directors, special topic webinars for students, and develop media assets for use in online courses.
