ACU's CEO named nation's best chapterPosted November 16, 2015
ACU students took home two top awards at the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization National Conference in Kansas City on Nov. 6. ACU won best overall chapter in the nation and best chapter business with Wildcat Ventures.
ACU competed against more than 250 chapters from across the nation, including chapters from Texas Tech, Texas Christian, Texas State and Texas A&M universities.
At last year’s CEO National Conference, ACU placed second in the category of best overall chapter.
All of the students involved are proud to see their hard work pay off, said Rudy Garza, president of ACU’s CEO chapter.
“We work tirelessly to build a culture of entrepreneurial thinking on campus, and this award affirms that we’re excelling at offering innovative and exciting programs,” Garza said. “I’m proud to have represented ACU and given back to the university in this small way.”
CEO is a national organization focused on allowing students the opportunity to “network not only with their student peers, but with fellow entrepreneurs in the business world to promote entrepreneurship at all levels and in all environments,” according to its website.
