Springboard Ideas Challenge Awards DinnerPosted March 31, 2015
Entrepreneur Nick Seedorf of Long Beach, Calif., will speak at the 2015 Springboard Ideas Challenge awards dinner at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, in the Hunter Welcome Center at Abilene Christian University.
Also at the dinner, winners will be announced in the mini-business plan competition, a community-wide contest sponsored by the Griggs Center for Entrepreneurship & Philanthropy at ACU.
The Finalist Expo begins at 6 p.m., and dinner will be from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased online.
Seedorf started two multimillion-dollar companies, both before he turned age 30. In 2013, he was named one of eight finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2013 in Orange County, Calif.
Winners for the Ideas Challenge will be named in two divisions: the community division with a grand prize of $20,000 and the student division with a grand prize of $10,000. All prize money is donated by local sponsors.
