ACU hosts 43rd annual ACUTA conferencePosted April 08, 2014
ACU hosted the 43rd annual conference and exhibition for the Association of Information Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education (ACUTA) from March 30 - April 3 in Dallas. More than 250 people from across the U.S. and Canada, representing 142 institutions and 40 companies, attended the conference.
Kay Reeves, executive director for information technology at ACU, served as a panelist for a session titled "Tough Lessons Learned." Reeves' fellow panelists came from Rutgers University, the University of Florida, the University of North Texas, Harding University, and Elon University.
Reeves' participation on this panel continues a rich tradition of ACU participating as panelist or presenters at ACUTA events. Previous ACU IT faculty who served as panelist or presenters include: Kevin Roberts (42nd Annual Conference 2013), Dempsey Peterson (Winter Seminar 2013), Arthur Brant (Fall Seminar 2013, Winter 2013), Jon Bruner (Fall Seminar 2013), and Gerald Coleman and Chris Robinson (Fall Seminar 2012).
ACUTA is an international non-profit educational association serving colleges and universities. ACUTA represents more than 1900 individuals at more than 600 institutions of higher education, with members ranging from small schools and community colleges to the 50 largest U.S. institutions representing diverse Carnegie classifications in all 50 states, Canada and New Zealand. ACUTA also has Corporate Affiliate members, representing all categories of technology vendors who serve the college/university market.
