The Department of Theatre at ACU provides solid training in theatre class work and practical production experience. We combine the real-world practicality of production with carefully chosen classes where the artistic process can be slowed down and studied in detail. Majors earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Theatre, with one of the following tracks: 

What Classes Will I Take as an ACU Theatre Major?

You can add tracks to your degree plan; however, you must petition the faculty to obtain their approval. You are admitted into a particular track and must remain in that track until you have satisfied its requirements through faculty approval.

Alumnus Nelson Coates ('84) discusses faith and the film industry in ACU Theatre Chapel. Coates is known for Flight (with Denzel Washington), The Proposal (with Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds), Secret in the Eyes (with Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts) and the Emmy-winning Stephen King's The Stand.
