Scholarships and Assistantships

Scholarships
All students accepted into the MFT program are automatically considered for a departmental scholarship. There is no need to complete a separate application. Scholarship decisions are made based upon a rubric for which students receive points for the quality of each aspect of their application to the program.

Graduate Assistantships
Graduate assistantships are available to highly qualified students. Five of these positions are available within the Department of Marriage and Family Studies, but others may be available in other departments on campus. For more information and to apply for a graduate assistantship, visit the Graduate School.

Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to students through scholarships, assistantships, loans, and part-time employment. For further information on financial aid, contact Student Financial Services on the web or at 1-800-888-0228 or 325-674-2643.
