Faculty & Staff
Faculty in the Department of Marriage and Family Studies provide rich resources in academic, clinical, and spiritual leadership. Faculty members in the MFT program are licensed mental health professionals, and in addition to their teaching and research interests, they each have their own private practice caseloads. Family studies faculty are Certified Family Life Educators and are involved in providing educational programs to their churches and the community.
All of the faculty are dedicated Christians and are intentional about integrating their spiritual and professional lives. Faculty are also involved in their professions through membership in professional organizations such as the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the National Council on Family Relations, and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies. The faculty regularly present at state, national, and international conferences and publish their work in peer-reviewed academic journals.
