Immunization Requirements for Graduate Students

Immunization Requirements

To ensure the health and safety of our campus, immunization against communicable diseases is extremely important. Vaccination against meningococcal meningitis, measles, and tetanus is required of all new, transfer, readmitted, graduate and special students enrolling following a break of at least one long semester at ACU.

Students who are enrolled in online programs, distance education programs, or who are at least 22 years old are exempt from the meningitis vaccine requirements. All residential students must provide the Student Immunization Form as documentation of the following vaccinations.

  • The student must have received at least two vaccinations for measles.
  • The tetanus vaccination must have been given within the last ten (10) years.

For additional information, refer to the ACU Student Immunization Policy or contact the ACU Medical Clinic at 325-674-2625.

Immunization Form

All residential students who were not enrolled in school during Fall 2014 must complete and return the Student Immunization Form along with documentation of the immunizations. Graduate students should send these forms directly to the Graduate School.

You can access the Student Immunization Form online.
