Session II: June 16-22, 2013

Summer Academy II, held June 16-22, 2013, is a fun and exciting academic experience for incoming freshmen, sophmores, juniors and seniors.This one-week session offers a creative twist on the typical university experience, featuring courses taught by ACU professors, meals and dorm life on the ACU campus, and social activities in Abilene and the surrounding area. Each student receives the choice of one elective-style course for the week, earning one hour of college credit. Courses cover a variety of academic areas in math, science, business, communication and the arts, and each is designed for hands-on, active learning.

Classes
  • Digital Media: Students will work with trained media specialists in the AT&T Learning Studio to record, edit, and produce successful media messages in a range of styles.
  • PianoFest: Master classes, daily lessons, supervised practice, performance labs, daily concerts and more are combined in this week-long intensive for young pianists.
