Changing Lives, One Pair of Shoes at a Time
On Monday, Sept. 13, Abilene Christian University hosted TOMS founder and "Chief Shoe Giver" Blake Mycoskie, who inspired us with the story of TOMS' beginning and with the message that anyone can make a difference.
This message echoed resoundingly the following day, when some 1,000 students, staff, faculty, and members of the Abilene community gathered for a "Style Your Sole" party, where they purchased and decorated nearly 800 pairs of TOMS, and visited with other nonprofit organizations who are making a difference.
A big thanks to the ACU Students Association, College of Business Administration, Honors College and most importantly the students of ACU for making this event a success and for making a difference in the world!
