Meet This Year's Hosts and Hostesses

  

Kari Anderson

Kari, senior Biblical text major from Inkster, Mich., transferred to ACU from Southwestern Christian College one year ago. At SWCC he toured with their vocal ensemble. He saw Sing Song for the first time last year. He is the son of Larry and Cheryl Anderson.

  
 

Isaac Bray

Isaac, junior vocal music education major from Abilene, is a member of A Cappella Chorus. He has performed in several ACU operas and Homecoming musicals. He has been involved in Chapel leadership, Meals on Wheels, Service Action Leadership Team, and this is his third year to be involved with Sing Song. He is a member of Frater Sodalis men's social club, and the son of Sheldon ('76) and Mattia (Russo '81) Bray.

  
Benay Dennis

Benay Dennis


Benay, senior interdisciplinary music/business major from Rio Vista, has held leadership positions in Sing Song all four years. She has also been involved with Spring Break Campaigns, Freshman Action Council, Welcome Week, A Cappella Chorus, University Chorale. She is a member of Ko Jo Kai women's social club, and the daughter of Bill ('76) and Pattie (Moody '78) Dennis.

  

Ben Reeves

While at ACU Ben, junior marketing major from Abilene, has played key roles in the Welcome Week Talent Show, Freshman Action Council, ACU Leadership Camps and Sing Song. He is also a member of the National Gymnastics Association and Gamma Sigma Phi men's social club. He is the son of Brent ('80) and Beth (Balfour '80) Reeves.

  
 

Marcie Rodriguez

Marcie, senior graphic design major from Snyder, has been part of A Cappella Chorus for three years. She has also been very active with Hispanos Unidos on campus. This is her third year to be involved with Sing Song. She has also been part of Shades productions, Visions of Grace and various praise teams. She is the daughter of Alfonso and Virginia Rodriguez.

  
Elizabeth Anne Russell

Elizabeth Anne Russell


Elizabeth, senior communication/marketing major from College Station, has been part of Sing Song since her freshman year.  She also was a soloist in Freshman Follies. She has sang the national anthem at ACU athletic events, Dallas Mavericks games, and Texas A&M University games. She is a member of Sigma Theta Chi women's social club, and she is the daughter of B. Don and Rebecca (Crawford '75) Russell.

  
 

Anna Peters


Anna, junior family ministry/elementary education major from Houston, works in ACU's Residence Life Program and is a McNair Scholar. She also is a member of the University Chorale, A Cappella Chorus, Virtuous African Heritage Sisterhood and Essence of Ebony. She has served in leadership roles in Welcome Week, Spring Break campaigns and weekend campaigns. She also has performed in Ethnos, Black History Production and the Homecoming musical Aida. She is the daughter of Karen Peters.
