ACU Foundation appoints Kevin Christian as Foundation officer, associate general counsel

Kevin Christian, former executive director of the West Texas Office of Economic Development and Tourism and candidate for Texas State House District 71, was recently appointed an officer of The ACU Foundation and associate general counsel for Abilene Christian University. Christian began work with The ACU Foundation June 1.

The ACU Foundation is charged with building the endowment of ACU, and works with friends of the university and members of the community at large to encourage and assist with financial and estate planning.

Christian is a 2000 alumnus of ACU, graduating magna cum laude in political science and public service.  He holds a juris doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law.

He is active in community affairs and serves on the boards of The House That Kerry Built, Boys and Girls Club of Abilene and the Abilene Preservation League. He holds professional membership in the Texas and Abilene Bar Associations, Republican National Lawyers Association, and the Texas Economic Development Council. He and his wife, Linda, are members of the Southern Hills Church of Christ.
