For three fiscal years, anonymous friends of ACU have issued a Centennial Challenge as part of the Centennial Campaign. The goal of the Centennial Challenge is to encourage alumni, parents and friends toward increased participation in and giving to ACU’s Annual Fund.
In the 2005-06 academic year, these anonymous donors have offered $250,000 in matching dollars to ACU. This incentive has brought in an additional $505,485 in new and increased gifts, and the current donor count stands at 6,286, leaving only 214 donors needed by May 31.
"We are confident that our alumni and friends will step up to meet this third and final challenge," said Dr. John Tyson, vice president for development. "We have a host of alumni volunteers and staff members working hard to contact classmates and other supporters in these final days of the fiscal year, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive."
