Newsweek names ACU one of America’s Most Interesting Schools

Abilene Christian University has been named to a list of “America’s 367 Most Interesting Schools” in the 2006 Newsweek-Kaplan College Guide.

The guide lists facts and figures on “367 of the most interesting schools in the country.”

ACU is one of 13 Texas schools included in the list, along with Austin College, Baylor University, Rice University, Southern Methodist University, Southwestern University, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, Trinity University, University of Dallas, University of Houston, and University of Texas at Austin.

The guide says “There are many things that can make a school interesting – be it academic strengths, student body, or specialty programs.”
