International culture to take center stage Friday and Saturday

Nov. 17, 2005

Abilene Christian University students from around the world will showcase international culture this Friday and Saturday at ACU's annual culture show, sponsored by the International Students' Association. The show is at 8:05 p.m. in Cullen Auditorium both nights.

This year's show is titled "Ethnos U," and tickets are on sale for $3 in the McGlothlin Campus Center and at the door.

"'Ethnos U' is a more comical show than in years past and should be fun for audiences," said Laura Blake, director of international student services and staff advisor for ISA. "The main story follows two men interested in the same woman, telling a funny tale of love and disappointment, while the different groups really show off our students abilities."

More than 100 students from around the world will perform in group and solo acts, including songs and dances from Japan, Madagascar, Nepal, India and Brazil.
