Dyess Air Force Base educational personnel will be on the Abilene Christian University campus Wednesday, March 2 for lunch and a tour of selected parts of the campus to help facilitate ACU's partnership with the base.

Each semester and during the summer term, several graduate-level classes in ACU's Organizational and Human Resource Development program are offered at Dyess Air Force Base, and this year, for the first time, all active-duty military personnel at Dyess receive a scholarship to attend ACU. This year, the scholarship was $205 per semester hour, and next year it will increase to $237 per semester hour.

"We offer this tuition scholarship to support our military and because we like to be partners with people in the community," said Dr. Carol Williams, dean of the graduate school. "In addition, we believe that having active military students brings a good perspective to our classes and our campus."

On Wednesday, seven educational personnel from Dyess will be visiting the main educational facilities on the ACU campus.
