Insurance marketing CEO to speak at ACU

Lynda Regan, founder and CEO of Legacy Marketing Group, will be speaking Thurs., Jan 27, at Abilene Christian University as a part of the College of Business Administration Distinguished Speaker Series.  Throughout the day she will meet with student groups as well as lecture for an audience of students and community business leaders. 

Regan has worked for 30 years in the insurance industry and began the Legacy Marketing Group, which has generated more than $13 billion in premiums over the last 10 years.  Legacy designs and provides marketing and administrative services for American National, Investors Insurance Corporation, John Hancock and Transamerica.

The unique philosophy behind Regan's success drives value-added, leading-edge proprietary products, innovative services and sophisticated training for a field force of more than 6,000 active independent sales professionals.  Her goal of helping sales professionals become more successful has made Legacy one of the fastest growing providers of insurance products in the nation.

Administrative offices for Legacy, which have grown from a staff of seven with revenue of $1.2 million to more than 400 employees and revenue of $60 million, are located in Petaluma, Calif., and Rome, Ga.
