The International Students' Association at Abilene Christian University will showcase their talents and cultural diversity at the annual culture show, "Ethnos," Nov. 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. in Cullen Auditorium.
The 2004 show is Ethnos: the Virus. The program is a celebration of unity as international students work together with students from across the United States to create the performance.
"The virus is intended to provoke and challenge the audience in their Christian walk," said Susanne Drehsel, co-producer and senior political science major from Germany. "It was chosen to convey the message of the cross and the mission that Christians have to take the message into the world."
Individual students and student groups will perform a variety of acts including Indian, Japanese and Latino dance, Latin American poetry, Scottish bagpipes, and the Shades Step Squad. Approximately 200 students have been working as cast and crew since September.
Tickets are $3 and will be on sale in the McGlothlin Campus Center Nov. 8-12 and will also be available before each show. For more information contact Susanne Drehsel at 325-864-3886.
