October 13, 2004
The votes have been counted, and the students of Abilene Christian University have chosen 10 women to serve as the 2004 Homecoming Court.
Members of this year’s Homecoming Court are:
• Laci Bills, senior exercise science and special education major from Sherman
• Jenny Fullerton, senior speech pathology major from Garland
• Jenny Kripner, senior elementary education major from San Antonio
• Rosalyn Perry, senior elementary education major from Abilene
• Allison Sevier, marketing and management major from Sulphur Springs
• Lydia Spies, biology and Bible major from Glen Rose
• Moriah Stewart, secondary education major from Fort Worth
• Amanda Thompson, fashion merchandise and marketing major from North Richland Hills
• Nichelle Wall, psychology major from Abilene
• Misty Wilcox, elementary education major from Bedford
One member of the court has the making of a Homecoming Queen nominee in her blood. Fullerton’s mother, Beth, was on the Homecoming Court 25 years ago. She is returning to ACU to support her daughter and to celebrate her 25th class reunion.
“I feel special to be where she was 25 years ago. My mom is an amazing woman and I am happy to follow in her footsteps,” Fullerton said.
The Homecoming court will be announced at Chapel and Homecoming Opening Ceremonies at 11 a.m. in Moody Coliseum on Oct. 22 and during Homecoming Chapel at 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 23. The Homecoming Queen will be announced during half-time of ACU’s Homecoming football game against A&M Commerce. The game begins at 2:00 p.m. at Shotwell Stadium.
