The College of Business Administration at Abilene Christian University was named one of the top 10 Christian business schools in the nation by Business Reform magazine.
Out of more than 100 schools nationwide, the Christian business magazine listed ACU as one of the 10 schools that "rose to the top of the list through their dedication to producing strong Christian business leaders that are impacting all areas of the marketplace for the glory of God." Rankings were published in the September/October issue of the magazine.
ACU also was ranked third and fourth in the categories of "Most Entrepreneurial" and "Degree and Course Options" respectively.
The magazine rated each school on the biblical foundation, entrepreneurial emphasis, degrees and courses offered, and the ranking given by department heads of other schools in the nation.
Dr. Terry Pope, associate dean of the College of Business, said he was particularly pleased with the ranking because it identified ACU as a school with a "proven Christian flavor rather than just a Christian name."
"It accurately reflects what we are about," Pope said. "I hope we will see ACU’s name on the list in future years as well."
