ACU winter dinner theatre mixes comedy and emotionFor immediate release The Abilene Christian University theatre department will present "Marvin's Room," a winter dinner theatre that mixes comedy and emotion. "Marvin's Room" has been described by the New York Times as extraordinarily funny and moving. "The play shows the power of emotion and love through laughter," said Eric Harrell, assistant professor of theatre and director for the play. "The play takes you through a joyride of the characters' lives while delivering a fast paced movement that really grabs you." With a cast of ten actors, Marvin's Room uses humor to display the emotion found in realizing the paths we've chosen along the way, said Harrell. Performances will be held Feb. 12-14, 20-21 and 27-28 in the Fulks Theatre on the ACU campus.
