Abilene Christian University's Brown Library will be offering used books to the Abilene community at the annual used book sale Nov. 20-22 in the Brown Library Atrium. All proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new materials for the library collection.
The yearly sale is held every fall and offers a variety of materials. Hardback books, paperback books and volume sets as well as records, media and magazines will all be offered to the general public.
"The sale allows us to purchase new materials for the library," said Virginia Bailey, reference librarian. "It really benefits the whole community because the facilities are open to everyone."
The sale begins on Thurs., Nov. 20 and will continue through Sat., Nov. 22. Saturday there will be a special sale in which each bag of materials is $5. Book sale times are Nov. 20, 6-9 p.m., Nov. 21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 22, 2-6 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, contact Bailey at 325-674-2352 or fax at 325-674-2202.
