ACU hires new centennial campaign directorFor immediate release Phil Boone has been hired as the new director of the centennial campaign at Abilene Christian University, said Dr. John Tyson, vice president for development. "We are delighted that Phil has agreed to join our development team," Tyson said. "His long heritage with ACU in addition to his successful experience in business and civic work make him an ideal candidate to provide leadership for our Centennial Campaign." Most recently, Boone owned and operated Learning Endeavors, a sales accountability and capital growth firm that provided executive projects, management skills training, sales mentoring, and strategic accountability. He has also been president and CEO of Resources for Living in Austin and has owned a franchise of Priority Management, a training company. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from ACU in 1983. Boone is the grandson of longtime ACU dean Walter H.
