WACU dinner to feature 'Legacy of Faith'

For immediate release
Feb. 18, 2003

"Legacy of Faith" is the theme for this year's annual Women For Abilene Christian University ladies' dinner on Tuesday, February 25, at 5 p.m. in the Teague Special Events Center.

Guests from ACU's Theatre Department - Donna Hester along with her daughter, Jenavene, and her sister, Martha Heady - will perform a program created especially for the WACU Ladies' Dinner. The performance will demonstrate how God weaves the tapestry of our lives with ancestral threads, said Amber Peck, WACU liaison.

Tickets for the dinner are $8 and will be available at Lectureship Central and The Jennings House Feb. 23-25. They also will be sold in the Campus Center at the ticket windows prior to the dinner.

Tables of ten are available for $80. For more dinner information, tickets by mail or to volunteer, contact Bettye Shipp, chair of the Ladies' Dinner at 915-676-3888.
