Abilene Christian University's adjunct instructor of horn, Barbara Showalter Josenhans, will present a recital of music for French horn on Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m.
The event will be held in the recital hall of the Williams Performing Arts Center on the campus of Abilene Christian University and admission is free.
Josenhans will collaborate with pianist Stacy Kwak and clarinet player Thomas Josenhans in an eclectic program featuring works by Verne Reynolds and Carl Reinecke.
Prior to her move to Abilene in August 2002, Josenhans lived in Washington, D.C., where she was a freelance horn player and held positions with several regional orchestras including associate principal horn in the Annapolis Symphony.
A native of Harrisonburg, Va., Josenhans completed her master's degree at the Eastman School of Music after attending Goshen College.
