Entries from the Office of Marketing and Public Relations at Abilene Christian University were recognized 20 times at the Abilene Ad Club's annual Addy Awards held Feb. 7.
The Abilene Ad Club is affiliated with the American Advertising Federation, an association of professionals in advertising, printing, public relations, radio and TV industries.
All of ACU's 18 entries in the competition won an award, including five Gold Addy Awards and 15 Silver Addys for work produced during 2002. The university has won 233 AAF awards since 1984, including 79 Gold Addys and four Best of Show.
Gold Addys were awarded to ACU for the following entries:
"COBA Vision of Excellence" (collateral material, four-color brochure)
"ACU Football" (collateral material, campaign brochure)
"COBA Vision of Excellence" (direct marketing, single,flat)
"COBA Case Statement" (visual and audio elements, still photography)
"'Jekyll and Hyde' program" (advertising for the arts, collateral)
