ACU music department to present opera scenes; Abilene Horn Choir to perform at ACU

Abilene Christian University will be presenting opera scenes and a horn recital on campus Nov. 23 and 24.

Students from ACU?s Department of Music will present the annual opera scenes performance on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. in Cullen Auditorium. The selected scenes are from the opera "Cosi Fan Tutte," sung in English.

The Abilene Horn Choir will perform a recital on Sunday, Nov. 24, in the recital hall at Abilene Christian University at 2 p.m. The Abilene Horn Choir includes French horn students from ACU and Hardin-Simmons University, led by Barbara Josenhans, adjunct instructor of music at ACU. The group will be performing works by Franz Joseph Haydn, Gioacchino Rossini and others.
