For immediate release
Oct. 31, 2002
Abilene Christian University will sponsor the third annual ElderLink forum Nov. 9 on the campus of Dallas Christian Schools in Mesquite. The forum is designed to help equip and assist church leaders and is open to past, present or future elders, spouses, ministers and other interested church
leaders.
Experienced church leaders will assist participants with topics such as spiritual leadership, pastoral prayer, minister evaluation and women's ministry.
For the second consecutive year the forum will be addressing the role of women in ministry. D'Esta Love of Pepperdine University and Dr. Ken Cukrowski of ACU will be leading discussions on the topic.
Completed evaluation forms from past sessions assisted organizers in choosing forum topics, and the most-requested was minister compensation, which will be addressed in a session offering facts, figures and formulas for making good decisions regarding compensation packages.
The forum will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will end no later than 5 p.m.
Space is still available on a first-come, first-served basis for those still wishing to register. Call Kristi England at 915-674-3732 or visit
www.bible.acu.edu/ministry/Elderlink for registration and schedule information.
