Center for Conflict Resolution to present conference for church leaders

Abilene Christian University's Center for Conflict Resolution will present "Conflict Transformation: A Conference for Church Leaders" in Dallas Nov. 7-8.

Speakers include Randy Lowry, founder and director of the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and professor of law; Dr. Royce Money, president of ACU and certified professor of graduate Bible and ministry; Cecilia Morgan, attorney and ADR professional; and Karl Slaikeu, president of Chorda Conflict Management, Inc. Participants may also attend one of two training courses to be offered each morning of the conference.

This year's conference will take place at the Harvey Hotel - DFW Airport in Dallas. Participants should make hotel reservations by calling the Harvey Hotel at 800-392-7794 and asking for the Abilene Christian University conference rate: $89 per night for Nov. 6-8. The cost of the conference is $250 and includes enrollment in two training courses, all plenary sessions, lunch each day and breaks. Participants are responsible for their own lodging.

In addition, ACU's Office of Ministry Programs will be presenting ElderLink Forum 2002 at Dallas Christian Schools on Nov. 9, and the reduced rate at the Harvey Hotel will be extended through Nov. 8 for those conference participants who will also participate in ElderLink.
