The second annual Older Adult Ministry Conference will feature presentations and discussion times about church ministry to older adults July 22-24.
The conference, designed for those working with older adults or wanting to begin a program for older adults in a church setting will feature presentations by church leaders who have developed successful older adult ministries, followed by discussion periods.
Featured presenters will include Jim Hughes from Skillman Avenue Church of Christ in Dallas; Jamie Knapp from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Okla.; Joe McKissick from ACU; Charlie Pruett from ACU; Bill Starcher from Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock; and Chris Bowers from Northside Church of Christ in San Antonio.
