The widow of artist Ancel Nunn donated an original hand-made book of lithographs, "Remnants of Change -- A Sketchbook of Texas," to the Abilene Christian University library.
The book contains 40 multiple, original, hand-pulled lithographs, pencil signed, numbered and titled by Ancel Nunn. The lithographs were done by the late artist in his studio near Palestine, Texas, in 1988.
Reneta E. Nunn, Ancel's widow, along with his sons, Ancel Paul Nunn and Andrew Everett Nunn, donated the book to ACU in memory of the late A.C. Greene, who was a friend of Nunn.
In addition, a collection of poetry based on the lithographs was also donated. "Remnants of Change," by Samuel C. Woolvin, contains a poem based on each of the 40 lithographs.
