Agribusiness professional to speak to students

Nov. 17, 1999
Dennis Raesener of Texas Farms Credit Bank in Austin will
be speaking to Abilene Christian University Agriculture and
business students Nov. 18 at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The discussion for the first class at 9:30 will be an
overview of the United States financial picture and
specifically the role and changes of the Farm Credit System.
The afternoon class at 1:30 will address specifically how
the Texas Farm Credit Bank supports the agricultural
marketing system.
Dr. Foy Mills, associate professor of agribusiness,
teaches classes in principles of agriculture
economics/microeconomics and food and fiber marketing.
Raesener will be speaking in Dr. Mills classes.
Students also will be able to visit with Raesener about
internships and career opportunities, in the Farm Credit
System.
