ACU Brown Library conducts fall book sale
For Immediate Release
Nov. 8, 1999
The Brown Library at Abilene Christian University is
conducting its semi-annual "Books-are-Fun" sale today and
tommorrow. The new books are available in the McGlothlin
Campus Center on the ACU campus.
The Friends of ACU Library are sponsoring the sale of
these books, Erma Jean Loveland, special services librarian,
said. The money raised will go to Friends of the ACU Library
where the money will be placed in the Foundation for the
Future library campaign.
"Response has been very good because of the attractive
selection of books," Loveland said.
The purpose of the sale is to raise funds for the Friends
projects as well as giving the students, ACU faculty and
staff and the public an opportunity to purchase quality
books at discount prices.
A variety of fiction, children's books, stationary and
many other books will be sold.
