ACU MBA student wins scholarship in business

Nov. 5, 1999
Noemi Perez, graduate student in business administration
from Abilene, has been awarded the National Society for
Hispanic MBAs Scholarship and the Texas Business Hall of
Fame Scholarship Award. Perez graduated from the University
of Notre Dame and is enrolled in her first year of the MBA
program at Abilene Christian University.
The Texas Business Hall of Fame is a foundation that
honors outstanding business leaders in Texas and assists
future business leaders who are pursuing their business
education in MBA programs in Texas schools by funding
scholarship awards.
Perez is employed as a certified public accountant at
Condley and Company, L.L.P., in Abilene as well as being a
full time student at ACU. She also has been involved in
other organizations including the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants, March of Dimes, Junior
Achievement and the League of United Latin American
Citizens.
Perez will receive her award of $5,000 at the Awards
Dinner Nov. 11 in Houston.
