ACU alum to speak today about combating weapons of mass destruction

Greg Sheppard, Abilene Christian University class of 1974, works for the United States government in an effort to keep the world safe from nuclear attacks. He oversees a program that assists Ukrainian engineers and physicists in the supervision of enriched uranium in Ukraine, a former member of the Soviet Union. As a scientist, Sheppard understands what happens when a nuclear weapon explodes.


Sheppard will speak today about "Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction: 'The Sum of All Fears' or 'A Clear and Present Danger?'"
