Women for ACU kick off 30th anniversary year

The Women for ACU will kick off their 30th anniversary
year with a birthday celebration sandwiched in the midst of
ACU's 1999 Homecoming activities.
WACU will celebrate with a birthday party Saturday, Oct.
23, at 8:30 a.m. at the WACU museum on ACU's campus at EN
16th Street and Campus Court.
WACU is a national organization of approximately 700
women who have raised more than $750,000 through
fund-raising activities for scholarships and various campus
improvements and equipment during the past 30 years. WACU is
organized by local chapters and is guided by a National
Board.
People interested in learning more about Women for ACU
are invited to the museum Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.
WACU festivities will conclude at 9:30 a.m. so guests can
watch the ACU Homecoming Parade as it passes in front of the
WACU museum.
