ACU to celebrate Mexican Independence Day Thursday

Thursday, Sept. 16, is Mexican Independence Day - the day
that Miguel Hidalgo delivered "El grito de Dolores" and
announced the Mexican revolt against Spanish rule.
To commemorate this day, the ACU student organization,
Hispanos Unidos invites everyone to a Mexican buffet served
in The World Famous Bean in McGlothlin Campus Center from 5
p.m. until 7 p.m. The buffet will feature Mexican
delicacies such as menudo, pozole and cabrito along with
regular menu items such as fajitas, chile rellenos,
empanadas, beans and rice and more.
The regular adult price is $7.37. Children 6-12 years
old pay $2.27. Children under 6 pay $1.14.
Festivities will be complete with a ballet foklorico and
pinata party. The ballet will perform at 6 p.m. in the
lobby of the Campus Center.
