For immediate release
July 19, 1999
Students from Japan's Ibaraki Christian High School and
Ibaraki Christian College are practicing their English and
learning American culture this month in Abilene.
During the day, the students work on academic studies and
computer lessons. In the evenings and on weekends, ACU
students show the Japanese students what American youth do
for fun. Such outings include roller skating, bowling,
miniature golf, shopping at the mall and western wear
stores, go-carts at Spinnerz, the Grace Cultural Center and
the historic town of Buffalo Gap.
