ACU welcomes new staff member For immediate release July 6, 1999 Shawna Dowell joins the Abilene Christian University Research and Sponsored Programs staff as Grants Administrator. Dowell graduated from ACU in 1992 with degrees in political science and history. She is now returning after receiving a Master's in Public Administration in 1994 from Baylor University and spending three years as Institutional Development Officer and Southwest Texas Network Consortium Grant Writer at Southwest Texas Junior College.
