ACU medical school acceptance rate above national average

Dr. Perry Reeves, professor of chemistry, reports that the acceptance rate for Abilene Christian University students who apply to medical schools is more than twice the national average.

For the past three years, more than 80 percent of ACU students who have applied to medical schools have been accepted. This year, the ACU acceptance rate topped 94 percent. The national average for acceptance among university students who apply for medical school is about 40 percent.
