Women for ACU to conduct annual book sale

The Women for Abilene Christian University will conduct
their annual Book Sale April 23-24 at the Jennings House
Museum on the corner of Campus Court and E.N. 16th.
The sale will start at 8 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.
on Friday, April 23, and then, on Saturday, April 24, it
will start at 8 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m.
Nancy Thompson, chair of the sale, said books from many
categories will be available, plus videos, cassette tapes
and compact discs. The WACU bakers also will have cakes,
pies, breads and frozen casseroles ready to sell, and the
WACU Gift Shop will be open.
WACU is an organization of women interested in Christian
education. They raise money through a variety of projects to
benefit scholarships and campus improvements at ACU while
building unity and friendships. Money raised through the
Book Sale will be applied to scholarships to be made
available to ACU students.
WACU membership is not limited to alumna of ACU but is
open to any woman wishing to support and encourage ACU.
