World-class military photographer, ACU grad to speak at ACU

A world-renowned military photographer and 1972 graduate of Abilene Christian University will be presenting and speaking at ACU Thursday.
Randy Jolly, president of Aero Graphics, Inc. will be speaking in Teague Auditorium in the Biblical Studies building on ACU's campus Thursday at 7 p.m. The presentation is open to the public.
Jolly's photographs have appeared on the cover of Newsweek, Aviation Week & Space Technology, World Air Power Journal, Forbes, Business Week, the Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine, Time, Fortune and dozens of other domestic and international magazines.
In his current role, Jolly designs, develops and produces corporate capabilities journals for aerospace and defense related companies including Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon and Rolls-Royce.
Jolly has also designed, developed and produced a four-volume series of coffee-table photo essay books on the U.S. military called Real Heroes. A fifth volume is in the works.
During his career, Jolly has accumulated close to 1,000 hours of flight time in fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft and has visited nearly every installation in the United States, as well as some remote sights such as Japan, Korea, Spain and Saudi Arabia, to photograph America's military in action.
Jolly graduated from ACU with a degree in psychology in 1972.
Jolly's visit to campus will also include a meeting with ACU Pope Fellows, presentations to a photography class, an American Foreign Policy class, a University Seminar class and a tour of the 12th Armored Division Museum.
