Abilene Christian University's Spiritual Renewal Week Sept. 3-5 will feature Dean Trune, a nationally known campus minister.
The theme for the week will be "Going Deeper," said Mark Lewis, director of spiritual life.
"The theme will be focusing on helping students form a deeper, more mature faith in Christ that permanently effects their lifestyle and reflects Jesus in them," Lewis said.
Trune is the executive director of Impact Ministries, a non-denominational Christian campus ministry that seeks to impact university campuses and the world for Jesus Christ through prayer and God's word.

During Spiritual Renewal Week, Trune will speak in Chapel each day. His presentations will be as follows:
Monday - Passionate for What?
Tuesday - We Serve an Incredible God
Wednesday - Merciful or Unmerciful Servant
In addition, Trune will be speaking Monday evening at 7 p.m. in Moody Coliseum on "Developing Intimacy with God: Organizing your Spiritual Life," and on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. in the Beauchamp Ampitheater he will be leading the ACU community in a "Concert of Prayer."
