Ag Clubs Annual Intramural Rodeo

The Abilene Christian University Aggie Club is serving as host for the annual Intramural Rodeo. It will take place on Tuesday, April10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Taylor County Expo Center horse barn. This event is open for any student to participate.

The men's events include:

  • Individual bareback
  • Individual chute dogging
  • Team steer saddling
  • Team branding

The women's events include:

  • Individual barrel racing
  • Individual goat tying
  • Team goat dressing
  • Team calf scramble
  • Team three legged race

Jason Pringle, rodeo club president, said, "We have done the ACU rodeo for over 40 years, however in the past it has been more of a traditional rodeo. Now the incorporates more students that have not grown up in an agricultural environment.

Tickets for spectators will be $3 at the door.
