
National expert on crisis management to speak at ACU
For Immediate Release March 27, 2001 For more information contact: Abilene Christian University's chapter of the Alpha Chi honor society will be presenting lectures by a nationally recognized speaker in the area of crisis management Thursday and Friday. Dr. Larry Winn, a noted author, speaker and consultant, has done repeated training in crisis management for the Federal Executive Institute which includes directors and managers from federal agencies such as the National Security Agency and NASA. Winn will explain how to respond to crisis situations both informatively and humorously in his two speeches. He will speak on "Crisis Contagions" at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and "Leaders as Crisis Causes and Crisis Cures" at 10 a.m. Friday. Both sessions will be in Room 200 of the Don H.
